Camp Morley is RiverLife Fellowship’s Summer Youth Camp which will be held in Laurel Springs, NC at the campus of Laurel Ridge Camp, approximately 90 minutes (80 miles) from RiverLife Mooresville. We will meet at RiverLife Fellowship in Mooresville and take a charter bus there together. Camp Morley 2026 will take place June 7th-12th. You will be added to our Camp Morley email list after you have registered, where we send information on fundraisers, packing list suggestions and general updates. Thanks!

Last year, we were blessed to benefit from an extraordinary season of support, including a large-scale BBQ fundraiser and significant one-time donations from our church family. These contributions, paired with lower-than-average facility costs, allowed us to offer a lower tuition rate for 2025. Without these extra funds and the increase in facility costs, we had to raise our tuition for 2026. We will be offering more fundraisers in the near future and encourage each student to pursue their own ways to raise funds (mowing lawns, babysitting, selling greeting cards donated by a church member, etc.).

Campers: are you ready to have fun at Camp Morley? We are! In order for you to have a fun, exciting and safe camp, everyone needs to follow the same guidelines. Below is a list of the basic rules and expectations that you will need to follow while you’re at camp. Keep in mind that more specific rules will be talked about upon arrival (mealtimes, bedtime, activities, etc.).

Purpose for Code of Conduct:
-To support a safe and enjoyable environment for all members of the camp.
-To provide clear expectations for social behaviors in all camp settings.
-To provide leaders and students with specific steps to address inappropriate behavior.

Guidelines and Expectations for camp (beginning at check-in until parent pick up):
-I understand that I am coming to Camp Morley to learn about and grow closer to God.
-I will be honest and respectful of myself, my peers and my camp leaders.
-I will participate in camp games and all activities (i.e. chapel, meal times, morning devotions, cabin time, etc.) to the best of my ability.
-I will not steal or destroy property belonging to Camp Morley, the camp facility, other campers, or leaders.
-I will not act violently toward any camper or leader.
-I will not use inappropriate language.
-I will stay within camp boundaries and/or within activity locations, and remain in my cabin between lights out and breakfast, unless with a leader, or with permission from a leader.
-I will wear appropriate clothes for activities as suggested by camp policies.
-I will not engage in physical displays of affection with the opposite sex, either in public or in private (i.e. hand holding, lengthy hugs, sharing a hammock, kissing, etc.).
-I will not bring my cellphone (or any wifi devices, including but not limited to smart watches) to camp.
-If I am driving myself to camp (which is only allowed with permission from a senior camp leader for extenuating circumstances), I will turn my phone over to a leader when I arrive.
-I will not bring tobacco, alcohol, or drugs to camp (prescription medication must be turned in to the camp nurse).
-I will not bring weapons (including pocket knives) to camp.
-I will follow all directions and rules.
-I WILL HAVE FUN!!!

Discipline Steps for Breaking Code of Conduct:

-Step 1: A leader will address behavior with the camper, helping the camper to understand the rules and take responsibility for changing the behavior. If unheeded, or serious enough, continue to step 2

-Step 2: Senior leader will meet with the camper to discuss and implement solutions. If unheeded, or serious enough, continue to step 3.

-Step 3: The camper and a senior leader will contact parent/guardian and clear objectives will be established. If unheeded, or serious enough, continue to step 4.

-*Step 4: The camper will be removed from camp without a refund. A parent/guardian or emergency contact will be asked to pick up the camper from the camp facility, in a timely manner.

*Senior leaders reserve the right to use a zero tolerance policy (surpassing the first 3 steps and going straight to step 4) on any extreme or intolerable behavior.
